VTM Bloodlines question concerning Hallowbrook Hotel

I have obfuscate 3, and yet the sabbat at Hallowbrook Hotel can detect me if I move near them. My sneak is 7. I'm only moving while crouched, while obfuscate is enabled, and I'm not bumping into anything, so I'm not sure why I'm being detected.

Has anyone completed this quest without fighting the majority of the sabbat in the place?

I think the problem is that some of the vampires have auspex. when you encounter one with Auspex, if I'm not mistaken, Obfuscate dissipates.

I don't really think it's possible to avoid killing anything in that mission. At least not that I know of. The quests at the end becomes Just Kill 'Em All-quests with little option other than, yeah, killing everything.

Wrong. A sneak of 10 will do the trick. I avoided alot of the end game combat everyone bitched about with my Toreador.

Alright then. A sneaking skill at 10 (or something) and a lot of patience might do the trick. Still a heck lot easier just to kill 'em all. :wink:

The auspex thing makes sense, didn't think of that. I've pretty much tapped every experience resource, so my sneak is 7 and I need to get through there. Killing time!
