This is just something of a coming soon page. It exists to give you an advance idea about what to expect.

I have been role playing for some time, and I've noticed most people are fairly bad at it. It isn't that I'm smarter than the rest of you nor am better-informed or more experienced. Simply put, a lot of people have a misconception as to what role playing is, and it hinders them significantly.

That is where this site comes in: Explaining what role playing is and (due to wide-spread misinformation and in some cases stupidity) explaining what role playing isn't. Sometimes getting points across requires a certain degree of derrogatory language and/or profanity. Odds are something will eventually offend you. Approach this site with the understanding that my main motivations in making this site are fatigue, contempt, and bitterness for my fellow role players. However, I will never present my point of view without backing it up with logic or evidence. There will be no appeals to ego, no logical fallacies, no spellchecking, and in most cases no regard for anyone's opinion outside of my own.

You see, I am a spectacular human being and all of you are my inferiors. It bothers me to see you breathing without me telling you how tSo I am wondering if you are you still reading this. You are? Good. I should have scared off most of the closed-minded people and skimmers by now. Look, the point of this site is explaining the core concepts of RP most people seem to be missing. I am fairly negative about certain problems with people's RP due to things which have happenned and I make no attempt to hide it. I have a somewhat warped sense of humor so there are going to be some jokes here and there to keep you from dying of boredom when I rant. However, rest assured I'm not going to purposely prose up my writing to seem scholarly, but my writing tends to get lengthy and technical because I support what I say. I do not fluff my writing. If something prints to 3 pages long, it's because that's all I could cut it down to. Don't skim. I hate that. Now, back to sounding like I know everything in this paragraph but failing miserably at my attempts to hide itWhich is why I've been considering starting some online classes to make all of you less retarded. Idiots.

The point is, because people misunderstand what role playing is, they have a poor foundation for doing it well.
Like-minded people unite!

There there's this one: http://www.rpgcode.com/

Which is one of those stupid parked sites that make money from dumb people.

Or, maybe he isn't.

But still, it's probably going to be about how to LARP correctly, what materials to use when making your suit of armor, and how to tell what styrofoam is good for swords. Moron.

Wow, here I was expecting links to gay porn, like for instance http://www.yahogroups.com, and instead I get satire, or pale imitation of the real Codex. Ah well, if nothing else, this post should have rectified the whole gay porn thing.

Proverbius is from Kentucky and he owns the domain.

As for the 1998 thing, I imagine this guy's COMING SOON! page perhaps used to be on Geocities or something and then he bought a domain and forgot about it.
