Volourn confined it's presence to site feedback and one or two threads in general discussion. And there was much rejoicing.

Then you Vol get fair answer. Have you noticed this Tycoon Codex and the forum integration ? Codex is gonna hit big.

I for one think it's Vol.

While Volurn can post without messing up punctuation and make quite intelligable statements - if he wants to, that certainly doesn't sound like him... and why would his recent line of behaviour make him see the need to "come out"? I smell a hi-jacker I do. Anyone tried pm'ing him over at obsidian?

It's pretty obvious now that someone's hijacked his account, and yet there's still no conclusive proof as an IP check is inconclusive. And besides, nobody's actually asked us to do anything about it yet, so we won't.

Okay, I read the "So you want the truth?" thread yesterday, and it said something to the effect of "...you can't handle the truth," and this was after it was locked. Therefore, I smell a mischievous mod...

As I've said before, it really doesn't feel like him. I suspect someone snatched it, and I also suspect who did it but saying my suspicions is pointless without proof.

I pm'ed him once in Obsidian when this hassle started and got this reply (sorry Vol to break your fun).

Codex = Evil, Jul 20 2005, 07:34 AM
Nothing on the Codex makes sense. Hate the game not the player. :D

Vol's been banging the same drum whole summer, just pm'd him when his posts at site feedback started going from strange to sick.

Ah, I see. I read "Codex = Evil, Jul 20 2005, 07:34 AM" as the exact point at which the 'Codex became evil, from Volourn's twisted point of view.

Ahh, fnord... It's so great to have you constantly chiming in to remind us that the site has nothing to offer you; it's such a constructive contribution to the site. And your plucky courage in continuing to spend so much time reading and posting on a site you loathe so much is a continual inspiration to us all.

Chances are Volourn uses the same password and e-mail for both forums - presuming this one is hijacked, maybe the one on Obsidian is too?

It is Volourn, and he is trolling.

*GASP.*

Wait...
...that isn't a change.

So I must repeat the question I asked when this crap started; who the fuck cares?

I honestly think you guys are feeding into him because in som sick, strange way, this amuses you. It is lame, idiotic and, quite frankly, rude behaviour.

Volourn is a troll, we know this. If you don't, you have been living under a rock, or live in "RETARDO LAND."

Want to see if it is Volourn? Simple solution. Manually change his password via the admin center, see if he resets it. MYSTARY SOLVED. Ofcourse, on the off chance it isn't Volourn, and he is an idiot and has his forum and e-mail passwords the same, I would bet it is Exitium, the world's premier drama queen. Or maybe they've been the same person all along. Or maybe this is all one twisted game of net drama, and Role-player has played us all for fools, simultaneously playing the parts of Volourn, Exitium and himself. Or... again, who the fuck cares?

Could you guys get back to RPG news and not dead-horse prodding, please?

I live in Adelaide Australia. It's not quite a rock but it's a hole and I guess that's close enough.

Actually, if you manually change someone's password in the admin center, the user can't reset it. If they log out, they don't know the password to get back in. Hey, now there's an idea... Unfortunately the "forget e-mail" option kicks in at that stage though and if someone has hijacked his account (which they haven't but if they have) they can easily change the e-mail in their profile anyway.

Well, this is in the Site Feedback forum. So there's no RPG news here really. What you want is a forum down. It's just unfortunate that it's the first forum in the list is all.

I mean, we could ban Volourn and I really, really want to but the computer says no. :: COUGH ::
