Where do you all find players and groups online?

I live in a very remote area and online is my only option in the near future. Where to find "old school" gamers, regardless of age? Every place dedicated to lfg's I can find is 99% weabs wanting to play make believe bullshit story hour over discord. No maps, no minis, no rules... so basically mostly DnD 5e. I was prepping a CoC campaign on FoundryVTT but its not worth it if I can't find decent players. I don't do voices and I don't indulge power fantasies.
My biggest issue being that most new players think gaming is "theater of the mind" pop culture acting nowadays. I was considering recruiting forever DM's as players, but the DM's I've encountered recently have all been just as terrible.
im interested on playing with a group. i want to try the older systems more than anything, ad&d or maybe other stuff like savage worlds. mind you i've never played dnd before. i've been running Ironsworn, solo and having a lot of fun with the mechanics.
