Worthwhile Browser-Based Games?

Just curious. There's a site called NewGrounds and another called Kongregate that seem to have large collections, but it's hit-and-(mostly)-miss, really; nearly all stink. And then I see multiplayer browser games advertised in banner-ads a lot, but since most seem to be stupid anime shit I don't give any a try.

Anyone played any that are particularly good? Single player or multiplayer, doesn't matter.

The West isn't bad. It's boring if you're not a competitive sort, but can be a pretty good distraction if you like to do grief onto others. Basically it's a western setting where you join town and work on the town by constructing improvements or donating money. Money can be earned by doing side jobs that are unlocked by achieving minimum skill stats. Or you can just rob other players for money.

A friend of mine can't stop raving about Eveon. It seems much more sophisticated than most browser games.

I've searched for "Eveon" and find only "Eve Online," which I don't think is broswer based?

SpaceVoyage! It's in German and eats 5 months of your life though.

Right now running around in aimless circles, only interrupted by building dozens of fires to make one giant swastika. I feel mature today.
Seems you can run around there all day, no limiting action points or something. But why?

edit: Switched to small containers. The fires don't burn long enough to create something really monumental. Which means the game is like Runescape.

You need to work with other people. Pool your resources, build a fort, take on other forces... well for now there aren't many other people playing since it's in alpha, but it'll grow. Also, beware of Goons.

So there's stuff like forts and organized little wars? Good. From first glance it appeared like everybody built something in the middle of nowhere, just to try out how it works.
Any hints beside "Spend hours building useless small stuff to level up"?

There's a help forum. But like I said, it's in alpha stage... so don't expect too much right now. I think it's one of those games you kind of follow closely (without immediately expecting anything godlike), because in the future it'll probably be quite interesting.
