    Game News Kingsvein Released

It's not as good as Horizon's Gate. Wish I could pick my race. I had a specific character I wanted to make. I expected Horizon's Gate but better, I got Horizon's Gate but worse. I am disappointed.

Kingsvein - new tactical RPG from Rad Codex set in subterranean world

I just started really, but already 90% certain that this game will be worse than Horizon's Gate, which makes me sad. WTF can't a I pick my race? I wanted Horizon's Gate but better. Got Horizon's Gate but worse.

Torment How many times have you finished Planescape: Torment?

Once. Game is pretty bad, barely being held up by pretty good writing.

Trigger the codex with a statement.

Diablo 1 is actually good, but it never got a real sequel. Fallout 2 is shit. Pillars of Eternity is good. There, and I mean every statement.

Vapourware Bloom: Memories - a new kind of action adventure RPG by Studio Fawn

Having made an indie game myself, I just made it for me. I didn't do it as a job or anything. It's a type of game I always wanted to exist and now it does. If your scope isn't out of hand it won't waste your life or anything.

    Incline Colony Ship RELEASE THREAD

I liked AoD, so I image I'll like this. Will buy it in the future. Very cool that it's been finished and released.

Game News Geneforge 2 - Infestation gets trailer and Steam page, coming Q1 2024

Finally I can summon a trap, I've been settling for trannies too long. At any rate, I've never played geneforge, but this sounds neat. Likely the remake wont have a dogshit UI like a lot of old rpgs do, so I'll wait for the remake to release to try it out. Wishlisted.

    Grimoire Thread

About to reinstall and play this again. Made a character in D&D who's a fairy, and I really like my guy, so I'm glad I can keep playing a fairy character via this game.

I'm not the biggest fan of the engagement mechanic either. I think modern PoE is actually pretty good overall thanks to a lot of the updates the game got, some of which were really cool, but that is definitely not a good mechanic. It's *kinda* decent now at best.

Really no point in continuing to engage with porky directly, he saw indisputable proof of tanks effectively doing their job and came up with retarded conspiracies to pretend it wasn't a thing, then complained defending your back line is *sometimes* not 100% brainless due to enemies like spirits...

Having the skill to beat the game, and having the skill to make effective use of tanks are two different things. I should note that I never ever use the AI to control my units, so maybe there's something to do with that why you don't know how to use tanks?

Are You Going To Play Baldur's Gate 3?

I probably will once it's on sale.

Eternity Pillars of Eternity + The White March Expansion Thread

I love Paladins, but, to make good use of them, you have to make your MC a paladin as they get more of a defense boost than NPCs do, and it usually works best with a multi-paladin team. So... two paladins all giving your team buffs, along with Chanters, summoning items, or maybe even some...

I play the game on those difficulties too. Tanks are fine and useful. It's extremely easy to get enemies to target them and to make them almost unkillable. If YOU can't make use them it's unironically probably a skill issue.

Eternity Pillars of Eternity + The White March Expansion Thread

I've played a good amount of Pillars and tanks are very useful and it's never hard to keep your glass canons safe. Most enemies that have a gimmick to reach them are weak and even if they're not, they can usually only use that trick once in a fight, so if your glass canons have even a single...
