I've been looking for years for a somewhat obscure, indie point-and-click adventure game. I can't remember the name, but I know it was about a girl (your Main Character) that was confined into an asylum, for having done the terrible atrocity of killing her own parents. I think your objective was to escape the place by interacting with many of the "quirky" individuals staying here. Any ideas which game I'm talking about?

PS: It is not Sanitarium (but most likely it was inspired by it). Besides, the protagonist was Max, a guy that turned into a little girl (and other, weirder things).
