Any RTS/RTT with good naval combat?

The only example I can think of is Supreme Commander (and presumably, by extension, Total Annihilation, which I haven't played yet). The ships handle how they should, and the scale is large enough to allow for that. The variety of ships is good, the factional differences made it interesting, a lot of thought went into their capabilities and armaments, and there's a good balance of simluating real-life warships to spicing them up with sci-fi ideas. What else should I play if I enjoyed that?

The only RTS I can think of where naval combat doesn't feel like an afterthought is RA3. If anything, I'd even say it focused on that pretty heavily, with lots of units that have dual roles that they can change between (sea and air, sea and land, etc).

RA2 and Warcraft 2 are also ok, though neither particularly amazing, especially since in RA2 naval combat is mostly a cheesefest.

Interesting point. I saw similarities between ra3 and supreme coomer in more ways than just that, I just assumed it was that way in ra2 as well. But yeah, it's another saving grace of ra3. The mission where you assault a japanese naval fort was a big highlight of the game.
