Just read the comments. Lots of fags complaining how "heterosexuality is forced on them" in video games and how they're glad that Bethesda finally "grew up". The Wulf guy is especially hilarious, in one of his rants he implies that healthy, straight Caucasians should feel ashamed of their existence. And most of the posters really believe that discriminating a sexual pervert is the same as discriminating an ethnic minority.

I'm so glad I'm not a Westerner. In Russia and most Asian countries homosexuality is considered abnormal, a sexual perversion. Homosexuals are worthless to the society as they produce no family and offspring. They're nothing more than sex crazed selfish bastards. You'll be a disgrace to your family and have no job and friends if you become openly gay here.

I have nothing against trying to include different groups of people in media. We live in a world where all our thoughts and behaviours are defined and directed by misleading, and even false preconceptions of normalcy, where unattainable ideal images are set as examples, and where people whose voices don't match the same tone as everyone else's are silenced, either by institutions and social structures, or explicitly by laws and regulations.

At the same time, the tokenisation of race and sexuality in videogames needs to stop. BioWare, despite the fact that their portrayals are more inclusive than the vast majority of the games industry, still end up creating stereotypical characters whose difference is played up as their sole defining traits (i.e. Zevran is "the flaming bisexual one"), or exploited for fanboy ego stroking. Sorry, but you don't get a free pass if you've basically reduced these complex and defining social issues to softcore porn.

I donno, they are quite good at making open-world levels but their games do have a lot of shortcomings which can't really passed off as flaws and then there's their godawful engine. I still wouldn't say that their games are shit though, on the whole they are quite brilliant unlike, say, Bioware's games, those are terrible.

This person called MJ keeps buggering me and keeps groping me in inappropriate places. He and his boyfriend Andrew Brown always try and turn me gay.
