It feels a bit to me like paying for him to develop a world-generator. Don't really think a real game will come out of this project.

All the features listed would be pretty much enticing, but it would be nice to see, up close, an example of the story procuderal generation. Since it's always different, it wouldn't be spoilerish, amirite?
Read Wyrmlord posts, if you find them amusing procedurally generated games are definitively for you.

Ba-dum, tssh.

But yeah, I remember something from the inanity of GD - a place I visited only when the homepage went down for the overhaul and I'm never coming back to.
Awful, awful memories.

Yet 1/5th of all your posts are in GD, more than in General RPG discussion....:M

Precisely, because I was lured in GD when the main page was down, and I had a "newb poster overload" (my posts are much less frequent than that time, today).
I probably replied and counter-replied a lot because back then I had the (wrong) impression I could counter inanity with words.
If you watch well, nowadays I only post (as I did in the past) only in the news, because I find that, while better than GD, not even general RPG discussion is that inspiring.
It's mainly the grounds where well known opinions about what constitutes RPGs, etc, are thrown back and forth without really progressing.

Does that satisfactorily answer your curiosity?

I respect this dude for showing his mug to the world and for his heart.

But honestly, the game is utter shit.

First, it's a fucking roguelike. Roguelikes are as un rpgs as you can fucking get. The AAA+ rogulike series, Diablo, has been responsible for raping classic rpg gaming for all time.

Second, procedurally generated content is bullshit. A proper rpg has handcrafted everything, from handcrafted encounters to handcrafted treasure/loot to handcrafted quests and shit. That is what makes a proper rpg. Fuck this randomizing bullshit.

Fuck it to death.
