There are four cells. there are four switches. a switch if off means they can get out for that cell. a switch if on could still let them out, there are more switches. three more. each one counts as a lock. but here the off position means door won't be unlocked anymore. all off equals more security.
in summary: a switch per cell. turn the switch off and they can get out anytime. turn a switch on and you can setup to three locks (inverse on for those), which instead of on you use off to enable a lock.
lightboxes will turn on for each cell that is on and so lockable.
oh yeah there's one more switch box you need to set to on (just on, not off) for the lock settings to be confirmed. it's above the toilet paper roll.
