Eh, Oblivion was already out for 5 years at that point.Probably one of the most negatively influential games ever made. Over 10 years of potentially good games dragged down to shitsville because of the gay open-world mainstream trend which Skyrim boomed.
But neither of those influenced other devs to focus on the open world formula as much as Skyrim did, nowhere near. The genre existed, it got more mainstream over time, but Skyrim sent it into full retard. Stuff like Dragon Age Inquisition and Mass Effect Andromeda would likely have been considerably different had Skyrim not made the bank it did.Eh, Oblivion was already out for 5 years at that point.Probably one of the most negatively influential games ever made. Ass Creed for 4.
I wouldn't say it great, but it is the last bethesda games that still retain some spark of creativity and fun questing.Oblivion was un-ironically great, it was only some aspects of the graphics (prosperesque faces) that dragged it down.
Birthday wishes are for games that are actually good*Storm of Zehir was released on November 18.
