will we be able to remap keys?

will there be hotkeys available outside of the usual inventory, journal, map, character etc?

i assumed the same, but sacred and fallout both had hardcoded keys. i never understood the reason for this unless there was something easier or simpler about hardcoded keybinds.

binds make everything so much easier. hunting down keys across the keyboard is cumbersome, and looking down at my keyboard constantly is even more annoying then hunting down icons with the mouse to aviod doing so.

Just pointing, as a solution to past games: There is a software called Autohotkey, which allows you to make simple logic scripts through which you can remap any key to anything, a key, a combination of keys and can even go a little more complex than that (like move mouse to this position, click once, hold down the button and drag to there, release button etc. etc.) and you can switch the script on/off or exit just as easily. For example, I played System Shock (1) with mouse-look (which the game didn't support as an option) through a script I made for it.

Key remapping is a rather easy thing to code , i presume the games that do not support that have lazy coders that didn't want to program the interface to allow you to do that.
