What pisses me off the most is that sites like IGN made 9000+ "features" about skyrim after reviewing it, and THEY'RE NOT touching Serious Sam BFE. That's a classic series too, people!

One might argue that the bugs are essentially good. Instaed of fixing some things, which would almost certainly involve neutering various aspects of the gameplay, they simply let the bugs stand.

Skyrim is an improvement over Oblivion in many ways, particularly in tone; the quality of the quests; and the size, scope and variety of the gameworld. It's really unparalleled in the things it does right this time around.

The neutered mechanics are a step backwards, as are the useless horses and the crap interface.

Lots of it is in-between. Radiant Story is hit and miss-- scaling is still a mess sometimes; voice acting is hit and miss-- has no one said anything about Max Von Sydow not even doing all of Esbern's lines and there being a scrub sound-alike for much of him? Surely people have noticed this.

It's endearing in the same way you go "Aw, how cute," when the local retard tries to lick his own balls.
