I see a couple people asking about Isometric art, and not that much helpful information about it. I am not an artist but I enjoy drawing isometric art and like to share my exploration.
Teach us.480p quality and 20 minutes for something that can be explained in 2.
I guess beggars aren't choosers, so if someone really needs this, it'll be helpful.
Thank goodness this can be applied to all isometric projections when drawing. The skew is slightly different...doesn't matter!Looks more like dimetric, to be honest.

When people say "isometric", most of the time they mean "axonometric".
I have no use for this. But it is very cozy.

TutorialOk so I got a basic tree but how do I texture it? Also, the tree looks more like a weed than a tree.

It only matters if you like to use words that have well-defined meaning It helps when talking to people to have a common understanding of the wordsThank goodness this can be applied to all isometric projections when drawing. The skew is slightly different...doesn't matter!
You are arguing about the how people use the names of different isometric projections under the term isometric. Yes we all get it, there are all sorts of different isometric projections. Case closed. It only matters if you like to use words that have well-defined meaning It helps when talking to people to have a common understanding of the wordsThank goodness this can be applied to all isometric projections when drawing. Got about halfway through. I can't plug the alpha channel from the texture into the model. That whole node UI view I don't know what its called, but I don't see how to bring it visible.TutorialOk so I got a basic tree but how do I texture it? Also, the tree looks more like a weed than a tree.
I think this tutorial covers about everything you need. The tree looking life a weed is a combination of your sapling settings & also probably because there is no texture.

And please don't spread any more misinformation with wikipedia links.
I know its gonna be considered taboo but I've been experimenting with a low poly 3D model and using post processing to achieve that classic retro 90s look to the artwork for a pet project by using simple texture maps and then just positioning my camera
