I rather liked how goofy was an anthropomorphic dog but pluto was just... a dog. and they both existed in the same universe.
anyway, furryism is weird and fucked up but I think the ridiculous counter-lashing to it is even more ridiculous. projecting and all that.

... no, I'm not actually serious about this, but I do find the extreme anti-anthropomorphism fetish of the internet to be... weird? the sexual fetish is absolutely ridiculous, but to go on some crusade against any animal-bipeds in games/cartoons (ones that are not even sexualized) strikes me as... unnecessary.

The visuals are really pretty, the music is beautiful, the animation is really good, and the pseudo-steampunk style is kind of nice. Of course, given those facts and both that it is japanese and it has animal people the only possible reaction is... Burn! Burn it all to hell! BUUUUUUURN!
