What a load of bullshit...

I think they know that - just like we do with signs, it's not something you really believe in but you still read the horoscope, just because. forc characters, I think it's more for the "oh lol this guy has the same type as me" appeal.

Pretty? Yes. Can be mistaken for a girl? No way in hell.

"Bishounen" icludes pretty boys in general, not only the ones that could be mistakes by a girl. Kyo looks like he came straight from a boy band.

I'm a retard. Those are extracted from a huge ass *.swf animation at the official KoF XIII site that I somehow failed to notice. The Garou track is for Terry's team.

This, however, was found in the depths of the swf file - and swiftly removed by SNK:

Well at least they seem to be on a good supply of chill-pills. Bethstapo, EA or someone else would be performing one massive and resounding FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUU followed by a new chapter in their history of litigation.

The opening sequence has been released (along with release date of July 2010).

Rose (which all but guarantees Adel, hurray!) is in the vid, as is Mukai and his crew, so I would guess Rose/Botan and Mukai will be the mandatory mid-bosses.

EDIT: Also, just to be the first around here, I call that the alternate white costumed super Ash is called Orochi Ash.

His name will be Satsui no Hadou ni Mezameta Ash.

Sorry, wrong game.

EDIT: In unrelated news, BB: Calamity Trigger is getting a PC version. In even more unrelated news, my copy of the PS3 version arrived yesterday. I've been waiting for the PAL version all this time, but ended up getting the American one after NeoGAF voted a shitty piece of fan art for the official Euro box art. Stupid faggots.

Is BB any good? The thing is, I usually don't like Arc's fighting games that much, since they feel far too button-mashy for me.

Any of you played the Kengo games? They are allegedly the spiritual successors to the Bushido Blade series, which were awesome.

Also a friend of mine just picked up UFC 2009, haven't had a chance to play it yet but the combat system looks interesting (very complicated).

So far I like it, although I only played several sessions at a friend's place, and cleared the arcade mode with 4 characters on my own copy.

First thing that I have to say is that it's very refreshing to play a fighting game the roster of which isn't dominated by shotos. In fact, there's only one shoto out of 12 characters (Jin), and even his game is very different from typical Ryu clones because of his ability to freeze stuff with his EX-moves. "Different" is probably the best word to describe the game in general. Iron Tager, the mandatory grappler, instead of chasing the opponent all over the stage can magnetize them and draw them to him; Rachel can control wind, which she uses to blow the opponent towards lightning rods that she can place on the stage; Nu can summon swords that come from different angles.

How mashy the game is depends on the character you're playing. Hakumen, in particular, can't even cancel his normals into other normals, only link them together, and is built around counters and his ability to cancel specials into each other (although all of his specials eat meter). His combos are short, and you have to make sure that the opponent won't block specials to avoid wasting meter. Ragna, on the other hand, is pretty hectic. Most of his specials have follow-ups to them, so there's a lot of joystick waggling involved. It's like his every attack is a rekka coming at a different angle.

I'd say it's worth checking out, especially since you can get it at a relatively low price. There's no other fighting game quite like it out there, which is nice.

But plays more like Melty Blood, speed-wise. While we're on the subject of looks, its art direction is also far more consistent than GG's, and characters actually fit together, instead of being a collection of random ideas that Daisuke Ishiwatari found to be cool.

But does Daisuki still voicing characters? Because one thing I liked about GG was the way Ky and Sol shouted their move's names and stuff during the fights.

In BB certain characters have special voice sets when fighting against certain other characters ("JIN! SHINEEEEE!" "NIISAAAN~")

I was planning on buying the PC version, but after it got delayed again (to 5/27, Continuum Shift comes out on consoles in July) I'm not so inclined anymore.
