Part 45: Epilogue
In which this LP comes to an end.
So yeah, our brave heroes of light have won the final battle against the Dark Lord Chaos!
Yay!
Yeah, yeah, the usual stuff.
SUDDENLY
THE STAR CHAMBER STARTS SHAKING LIKE CRAZY
THE SHAKING GOES ON AND THE SCREEN STARTS FLASHING WHITE
So we've gotta run to the exit as fast as we can.
Once we've reached it, a brieft cutscene follows.
We see our pet dragon descending to the Star Chamber entrance. Apparently, Rolan is riding it.
First we're given some time for party banter, however.
It looks like all our heroes have grown more, uhm, mature and dedicated and stuffies.
Change the world?
My, you've become quite idealistic, our oh so cynical BRO.
SMA shares her wisdom with us, too:
True BROs totally don't abandon their SISes in cold blood, I guess that's what SMA -- who was always left behind in the first part of the game -- is trying to say.
Codexer still can't believe he's a hero now:
You mean, every
codexer in the world, right?
And Volly the pretty princess is being her usual cute and pretty princessey self:
Except she's grown much friendlier and a bit less selfish compared to the way she was in beginning of the game.
The party banter done, we mount the dragon:
And up we fly!
We see the Schwarzwelt disappear:
And then the dragon lands on the whale Cetus' back:
Yup, it's teamwork that got us through.
SMA is worried, though:
But BRO says it's no big deal:
As does Volly:
Anyone, you say?
But BRO's got an objection:
And Rolan has the solution:
Our heroes are a bit surprised at first but then agree with Rolan:
And then a long ending cutscene -- in which we revisit all the world's nations we've saved from the dark -- ensues! First we fly to Guera...
...to meet our pal Krinjh and his girlfriend Ariadne:
But Codexer looks, uhm, upset for some reason:
He stomps his feet on the ground and exclaims:
And then he shouts:
Awww. With that, he runs away.
So our Codexer has fallen for Krinjh's loli princess, eh?
SMA's surprised and BRO facepalms:
And Volly reassures Krinjh and Ariadne:
Next stop: Liberte!
Pione and Lilibelle greet us here:
BRO recalls Volly's treasure-hunting spree:
It looks like Volly's a bit ashamed of her past childish behaviour.
And SMA makes fun of BRO a little:
Yeah, that was funny.
Is that right, BRO?
And our next stop is: Arbor!
The Fairy Queen and Torte welcome us:
They want to make Arbor more, uhm, welcoming to the outside world:
Truth be told, I liked Torte better back when he was a cute mouse.
Don't you?
In other words, :blah: :blah:
Next stop: Urbeth!
Thauzand, his daughter Elith, and the other merchant lords are here.
BRO tries asking Thauzand about something:
But Thauzand stops the bullshits and starts the truths:
Yay for making even more money!
And finally the chorus:
Next stop: Invidia!
It's Master Chief and Rekoteh!
Save the world, yay!
Rekoteh chimes in:
And BRO replies:
Hmmm, an anti-elitist, multikult, and pro-teamwork game? On the Codex!?
Yay! Next stop: Spelvia, the floating city.
Time for a little chat with Rolan the failed hero.
Hi, Rolan!
So you, uhm, live with the dragon?
Hell yeah!
See ya, Rolan!
Now only Horne, our home town, is left to visit!
King Horne, Volly's father, is here to welcome us:
"Protectors of my princess", lol.
BRO facepalms again:
Objection!
Yeah, Volly sure could use those decorum and etiquette classes.
Suddenly, a dragon shout is heard:
Volly runs up to us:
King Horne (literally) jumps off his throne:
And SMA starts talking about duty, like always:
But Lady Volly is bored:
Now that's the pretty princess we know and love!
King Horne is p. butthurt and starts jumping again:
Volly and BRO turn to SMA:
And Codexer, too:
SMA thinks for a bit and then, of course, joins Codexer, BRO and Volly:
King Horne is so jumpy:
But SMA tries to calm him down:
And it all concludes, of course, with a chorus:
This is our Playground indeed.
And the heroes run out of the throne room:
And the end credits kick in!
All the characters take a bow.
First our Codexer walks in:
And then BRO:
And SMA:
And the pretty princess Volly:
And Volly's big sister with King Horne:
And Codexer's mother Kuore with Ankhel the parrot:
And Louhi, the Witch of the North:
And then all the crowns are shown.
First Codexer the Wayfarer:
Then BRO the Black Mage:
SMA the White Mage:
Volly the Bandit:
Then Krinjh and Ariadne appear:
And King Guera:
And Codexer the Bard:
BRO the Merchant:
SMA the
Salve-maker:
Volly the Elementalist:
Pione the artist and Lilibelle the fairy:
Captain Drake and a pirate from his freedom-lovin' crew:
And Codexer the Ranger:
BRO the Fighter:
SMA the Scholar:
Volly the Party Host:
Thauzand the merchant lord walks in:
As well as Trylion, Bylion, and Mylion:
The evil sorcerer and Black Cat:
SMA the Hero:
BRO (?) the Spell Fencer:
SMA the Dancer:
Volly the Alchemist:
Torte and Queen Arbor:
Codexer the Monk:
BRO the Shaman:
SMA the Paladin:
BRO the Dark Fencer:
Master Chief, Rekoteh and the Dragon:
Codexer the Musician:
SMA the Seamstress:
SMA the Beastmaster:
Volly the Ninja:
Rolan and a Golem:
Volly the Sage and Codexer the Scribe:
SMA and BRO the Storytellers:
Codexer the dawg and Volly the cute white cat:
BRO the rooster and SMA the bunny:
Cetus the sacred fairy whale:
And finally, Adventurer and the Faithful Fox:
Back at the title screen, we're given the option to "Continue the story".
Once we've chosen it, a fairy tale cartoonish scene begins. Some of the locations and characters appear one by one, as well as stuff like the 100-floor tower, the whale and the dragon:
And we find ourselves back in Horne, in case we want to explore the world some more and maybe do the bonus thingies or find more secrets:
Bonus image: Volly tenderly holding BRO the rooster!
And this LP ends here, yay! Truth be told, back when I started it, I was convinced it'd never be concluded. But the game turned out to be p. good. Not sure if
of Enix-Square...
In any case, thanks for your attention, and love, and bumps, everyone! Even those who were silently following my LP, ashamed to comment on this lolifaggotry, or those who abandoned it at some point, even you -- you bastards, you! -- have my thanks!
Surprisingly enough, it's been a few months of good fun!
Take care, yay!
