Another reason for this could be taking advantage of full party control (which Nwn doesnt have)

Well, I love both games to death and enjoy single character focused games as much as party based ones but I realize many players just prefer FPC over having the character building options of NWN. This mod won't feel like NWN to me at all in terms of gameplay but I do plan on checking it out at some point because I'm interested in how the encounters and conpanions were translated to 2e and I actually thought the story of the OC as well as the voice acting, music, etc wasn't that bad and still found it to be an enjoyable experience.

Right off the bat, I find it to be a strange design decision to start the campaign at fairly high lvl but perhaps there is a method to the author's madness.
