Planescape: Torment will celebrate the 10th anniversary of its release.

So as a tribute to 10 years of Planescape: Torment and its still strong appeal, what does the Codex has in mind?

What is the normally appropriate practice for Planescape: Torment Day on the Codex?

There has never been a Let's Play for the game. Now since you seem to care by posting the topic and letting people know it's the 10th anniversary, perhaps you're the best person to see this thru to the end instead of the standard Codex failure of abandoning LPs within the first month.

I am still working on a large bloated LP of Betrayal At Krondor, which runs on large updates posted between long intervals.

I definitely do not want to do a Torment LP.

Jaime Lannister did a Torment LP, but he included everything down to the quest for solving the Rule of Three Earring. The LP never made it out of the Mortuary.

Really? It came out at the end of November? I kinda remember it coming out at the end of December. I still remember going to Electronic's Boutique, back when EB was an awesome store to buy PC games, to get it so it's funny that I've got the date wrong.

My guess is that on Nov 30, Bethesda will celebrate the 10th anniversary by declaring that they will buy the rights to Planescape, and make a true sequel.

Hush DriacKin, they might hear you and actually consider doing this. They have eyes and ears everywhere.

Yeah, doing an LP of Torment would be extremely difficult. The content is huge and it would be a shame to leave many things out.

I was 10 at the time when it came out, half of my life ago. I went with my father to the local market for everything cheap and pirated. The place was huge and had anything you'd imagine, including collector's coins, old Soviet and Nazi paraphernalia, watches, collectible phone cards etc. They busted that place several years ago and now it's a lame supermarket. Surprisingly I enjoyed the game and played it till death in the mornings before school. In some odd way I made it as far as the Curst prison, which is quite surprising since I mostly ignored dialogs. Despite abusing an experience bug and having TNO at a high level, I couldn't defeat the guards and the monsters. My last memory is running around, finding Trias and then quitting. :singletear: 5 or so years later I went back to it, hated it for the subpar RPG aspects and then changed my mind and loved it.

This thread is now about childhood memories of PS:T, in celebration of the anniversary.

What if three highly unsuccessful LP "artists" join together and play Torment as Good, Neutral and Evil?

Hell, i'd probably even finish an evil LP of that game... Probably...

When I played planescape I decided that playing it would make me smarter than school would so I stopped doing most of my school work and made some hilariously bad papers.

Wouldn't it be great if Bethesda announces Planescape 2 on that very day?

If I had Planescape: Torment on my computer still, and it was during the summer time, I could probably do a totally RAD FULL ON ACTION PLAYTHROUGH. But it won't be either. So it p. much won't happen. Not that I've ever really completed an LP anyway. Because I have a sloppy vagina.

To be more precise: Planescape 2 - Escape from Hell

And this is why you would be the perfect choice for the role of "The Ugly".

That mod will, "sadly", be forgotten i nthe wake of tranny mods and furry porn. Bethsda fanboys are an interesting breed indeed.

Deadly serious. Unfortunately changing TNO's gender is somewhat difficult so that awesome mod never saw the light of day. Instead we got Bishop's romance for nwn2, and that's a good trade-off in my book.
