PC Gamer has an interview with Luke Hodorowicz, the creator of Banished, a medieval city builder game.

It’s really free-form,” Luke said. “I didn’t want to build a game with build trees where first you have to build a church and ten houses before you can unlock building an ironworks. That’s a big disconnect between me and a lot of city builders. I want it to be sandbox, and people can do what they want.

Check it out here.

i was expecting an interview with some developer who had been banished from somewhere.

still, sounds interesting. will keep an eye on the website. although feels a bit... oriented towards the autistic market?
