The "violence is acceptable sex isn't" attitude authorities have on games is both hilarious and sad.

No, it is the right attitude to have, because sex IS worse then violence, mainly because you can sanitize and contextualize the latter, but not the first. Violence can be appropriate in the proper context, sex will always be pornographic no matter what. This is one of the biggest liberal fallacies ever conceived, and you'll see it repeated ad nauseum every time the argument comes up.

What the fuck does this have to do with what I just said? You can go out and murder hobos too, does that mean Postal should be rated E for everyone? The only thing stupid here are idiots who think that because you can't stop something, you shouldn't even try. Imagine if the justice system was built around this type of inanity. People still murder each other, so we might as well make it legal (actually I can see the appeal to that :smug:). People still steal so let's make it legal too. Legalize rape, assault, slander, etc. They're all easily accessible to anyone inclined to do it. You just get tossed to prison afterwards.

What the fuck does any kind of real-life action have to do with games?

This is just retarded. In which way does showing sex in games have any connection with crimes such as murder and stealing? You're almost as bad as Fox News and other news programs/websites that blame games for everything.

Where the fuck did I say it does? :retarded: I said the opposite: that since those are not normal things the average person has urges for, finding them in video games is not more likely to make someone want to do them than they would otherwise. The type of people who would be influenced by a game to do them are insane and would have done them anyway. This is in contrast to sex which every dumbfuck has an urge to do (and nowadays, is determined to do without putting any thought into it regarding possible consequences). Chill the fuck down.

94 is a great score, too bad I don't like games that are these days labelled as a RPG.

Insert clever insult here
Am I happy that Mastermind is on ignore, otherwise these threads would be horribly crowded with utter rubbish. Please stop quoting him too, thanks.

Also, PCGamer.uk wasn't that bad, a decade ago but I guess lot can happen in 10 years.

DOING SOMETHING IN A GAME MAKES PEOPLE WANT TO DO IT IN REALITY TOO

When it comes to sex, yeah, pretty much. Haven't spent much time perusing bioware forums, have you? :smug:

I'd actually say that NOT doing something in real life leads to people wanting to do it as much as possible in game. :P Which works just fine as an explanation of the bio forums.
