Gabriela Kownacka, actress responsible for voices of Viconia and Fall-From-Grace in Polish versions of Baldur's Gate and Planescape: Torment, has died today after a six-year long fight with breast cancer, at age of 58.
Her seductive voice was responsible for wet dreams of many a Polish RPGamer from 1998 onward. Being theatrical, television and movie actress, she brought a large dose of professionalism and quality to the largely amateurish cast of first BG (it was the first game of this scale localised for Polish market), setting a standard for future releases.
She shall be remembered every time we hear 'Usstan zha dost'. Respect.
edit: 'Fall' not 'Fallen' indeed.
