I've played it some.

It's level based , nothing spectacular , think God of War in Spiderman as 'Amazing spiderman' levels.

Noir levels are Batman Arkham Asylum.

Haven't played the rest so far.

If you played those other games , you know what to expect. It's not great , not bad, we have seen it all before.

(1 thing i liked though , there are moments in boss fights where camera zooms into fps mode and you fight like in a boxing match of those old arcade boxes , throwing jabs , punches etc , although dodging is simplified because you know which button to press to dodge).

Basicaly this game is like 5 games together mashed into one.

Two big problems with it, Each dimension all basically play out the same, as Amazing Spider-man you go around beating up mini sandmen, then bigger sandmen, than Sandman. As Ultimate you beat up mini electrical creatures, then bigger ones, then Electro. As 2099 you beat up little lizardmen, then bigger lizardmen, then Lizard. As Noir it is different in that you sneak around preforming stealth takedowns instead of fighting, but then you fight too, so if the villains had just had a bigger gun budget you'd be screwed. Also there's not much webswinging, which was pretty much the only consistent strength of past Spider-Man games.

But the levels aren't bad, the writing is p. good, it looks nice, the villains redesign for Noir are good.
