The guy who made it managed to mimic Castlevania's funky-ass jumping controls perfectly. For better or worse.

Love the use of music from the characters' respective games as well.

Probably for better, considering not only does he have double jump, but he has a whip and can throw axes all on his first life. Playing him would of been pointless because of how easy it would of been if he didn't jump like an asshole.

Interesting thing is that was created by a guy who works for Hothead Games as a designer (Penny Arcade is made by them if I am not mistaken) and overall it is a parody of one particular crazy video game reviewer when he made these reviews in 90s.
