Who knows. The elegant 2D artistry of Baldur's Gate and all it's siblings are timeless. No need for this crap. The best games to remake are early 3D games which mostly look like ass... I love the remakes of Duke Nukem 3D, Hexen and that kind of shit. Looking forward to Daggerfall's.

Character portraits look bad but other than that it seems quite nice. A lot of work to port all those areas and even more work to give at least some spells, not to mention scripts, enemies, weapons and armor and other stuff...

Probably wont see compeltion but a noble endevour anyway.
