Brian, I trust that you will put the money to good use. I can't stress the importance of this game delivering on the promises made to the community enough.
Congratulations.

$951K for Wasteland pledged in two days, and we probably already reached the 5K for the Shrine. It's great to see how the Codex really is a RPG community of BROS after all. :salute:
:bro: to everyone here!

I think we're between 3 or 4k, should be soon. :smug:

I'm pretty sure that by the time new donations are counted it will be over 5k.

And for those who are interested, it took only ~41 hours to reach the goal. The average donation is $57, and has actually gone up today. It is, obviously, the 2nd fastest growing project in Kickstarter history, and after less than two days is currently the #6 most funded project of all time.
:bro:
I think today DU may need to keep a closer look on this today because there are only 4 $5000 pledges left and we may hit $5000 very soon, if it didn't already happened by the time I'm writing this.

Fargo already said he would aloow us in even if the tier solds out. He really is a BRO and even tweeted again about us:

@RpgCodex I think this is one of the best stories that came out of this. Respect for you guys!

BTW, we need a Brian Fargo emoticon. :salute:

Just donated. Haven't even played the first Wasteland but after playing ME3 I want to see how the old people do it.

I guess we really were the ones we were waiting for.

You Maniacs! You inclined it up to 11! Ah, bless you! God bless you all to heavan!
The Genre is coming back. We are home. All the time, it was... We finally really did it.

Why is there a strange liquid leaking from my eyes? 900k goal reached within 2 days, that's why!
I'm lost for words, so let me just demonstrate my initial reaction through the use of an illustration, mimicking a mustache wearing homosexual:

Probably, but I imagine you'll have to be around here in October 2013 to claim it.

No, he needs to stay alive to witness the rebirth of the genre that he helped destroy while being chased by Bethesda's lawyers to the ends of the earth....

With this success it's now time to lobby MCA for

ALPHA PROTOCOL 2!

And go down in gaming history as a flaring failure to get even a 10th of the desired amount. R00FLES!

Nobody would buy it afterwards anyway. So from that perspective, it would be a true sequel :smug:

Bros, the long awaited turn based rpg dream is about to unfold. Never thought I'd live to see the day. Now if the project only could reach at least 1.5 million by the end we would again bask in the glory of an proper rpgs of old... :salute:

And I was worried that the goal couldn't be reached... :kfc:

I have that weird urge to fap furiously right now.

I had that strong feeling already after I woke up. Finally I know why. Damn, I must have some psychic powers!

Well if you noted what I wrote I DID say that only 4 of us liked it....it was a joke* VOTS. :M

* Actually it's not. I really would like to see a proper AP2 that actually was based on the mechanics of Splinter Cell Chaos Theory/Death to Spies/Thief with RPG skill development. Don't know what they were thinking trying to reinvent the wheel when they could have just copied SC for starters.
