Warning: major nerdstalgia incoming.
Do you sometimes wish they made a direct sequel to Warcraft III, ignoring everything that happened in WoW? What direction would the campaign take under your design?
The Frozen Throne expansion ended with the principal factions of Azeroth in a very complex situation:
Of course, World of Warcraft shat all over this beautifully-choreographed drama, and instead corralled all the numeorus factions and races into the same old two factions. In a completely nonsensical way - wtf are Blood Elves and the Forsaken doing in the Horde? Wtf are wolf people, Night Elves and Draenei doing in the Alliance? How many times was the Lich King killed by now? Orcish Horde from an alternate history - what? None of the main characters did anything of notice, and Blizzard is still raping the franchise with endless new expansions. Just stop.
How would you develop the plot from the point where Warcraft III Frozen Throne left off, dismissing WoW as retarded fanfiction that it is? Would Sargearas make a triumphant return? Would the Lich King be much more dangerous, now that he is no longer imprisoned at the North Pole? And what is the Naga queen Azhara truly up to in the depths of the ocean?

The Frozen Throne expansion ended with the principal factions of Azeroth in a very complex situation:
Arthas had severely wounded Illidan and finally reached the Frozen Throne, shattered Ner'Zhul's icy prison, and merged with his spirit, becoming the unsealed Lich King of the Undead Scourge. However, a portion of the undead, led by Sylvanas, had broken free from his control, and became a second undead faction called the Forsaken.
The surviving High Elves under idiot Kael'Thas' leadership had become Blood Elves, joined forces with the Naga (mutated elven elites of aeons past) in the Outlands (ruined remnants of the Orcish homeland of Draenor), and pledged allegiance to Illidan, who is in servitude to Kil'Jaedan, the remaining leader of the demonic Burning Legion (which had engineered the destruction of Quel'Thalas for which the Blood Elves seek vengeance, ironically enough).
The Night Elves retreated back into the woods of Kalimdor after parting ways with Illidan and his jailor Maeve, to watch over the World Tree's slow process of healing.
The Orcish Horde had established a new civilization in the prairies of Kalimdor, returning back to the shamanic ways of their ancestors and breaking free from their demonic corruption.
The humans had also arrived in Kalimdor seeking to build a new kingdom after Lorderon fell to the undead, and briefly had a spat with the Orcs, before establishing a truce with them.
The Burning Legion had suffered a major defeat at the end of the Reign of Chaos expansion - their invasion of Azeroth had failed yet again, their leader Archemond was killed, and now the remaining leader Kil'Jaeden seems mainly concerned with using Blood Elves and Naga exacting revenge on the Lich King for betraying him... which ends in total failure, as mentioned at the start of the post.
Also, the ultimate leader of the demons - the titan Sargearas, is still in limbo... awaiting his chance for a return?
