The dumbfuck appears to be using his regular account to fish for GD users to steal accounts from. But reading GD can't be done as a guest, or simply by registering a new account. So why not make it harder for him, specially since he's a repeat offender?

I banned several datacenter subnets hosting VPN servers. But I also banned several large Swedish ISPs. It affects at least one Swedish poster who doesn't appear to be using a VPN. It's best that non-VPN users contact the administration off-site, such as by email. Some of these bans will be made less strict as result.

So if it's been established that the perpetrator is a user of VPN, what's the point of banning swedish ISPs?

I never knew you could see through the fake IP like that. So basically only the IP is anonymous, and the rest can still be used to fingerprint your online identity? To narrow it down at least.
