I think the Codex talked and promptly forgot about this game more than a year ago.

Anyway, a lot of the game looks like derivative DIKU shit (except for the explorer and pioneer 'roles') and combat seems to revolve around the 'get out of the fire circles' gimmick from TSW (and sorta GW2). However, the setting is different from generic fantasy world #645612, and it may actually be *fun*, so wait and see I guess?

Yeah maybe. They haven't settled on what payment model they'll use so there's still hope.

It can also be ruined by not delivering at launch all they have promised. Which is a lot of stuff. There's even 40-man raiding.

From what I heard the developers are very open to having a sub system over f2p. Not sure how successful that will be when many theme park mmo's are going f2p.
