Yeah, his motivation may be weaker and more clichéd compared to WORLD DOMINATION, BABY!, but IIRC there are some nice twists in Rue's route. Plus he's, frankly, more fun to play than Mint, what with his ability to transform into all kinds of monsters and stuff.

And yeah, there's the mystery of his nature. How can he do the things he does? A mystery, yay!

Rue's route, Part III: First Contact

While Rue is trying to keep up with Elena, let me tell you about stats in this game.

Those are HP, MP, Strength and Defense.

Strength and Defense can only be raised by buyng stuff, according to gamefags.

Maximum HP and MP grows every time you lose HP and MP, respectively.

Rue doesn't need mana to transform into monsters, but needs it to use the abilities of said monsters.

It's a magician's workshop. Supposedly, about 100 years ago, a magician lived in this forest.

We believe that this magician did some research on this [relic]. If we go to his atelier, maybe we can get more information about the [relic].

If the legend is true, there should be some kind of a special area down there. The path that leads to the atelier should be hidden somewhere there.

But as you can see, the cliff is so steep, we can't get down there. Before you two came, I tried to get down there, but I ended up slipping and twisting my ankle.

Doctor, I'll give it a try. I'll get down there somehow.
