OK I played this for a while.
Yeah it's nice and atmospheric but... it's boring. Everything is a guessing game, gameplay wise. What question do I ask this guy (and if you get it wrong, come back later!)? What traps do I need to get to fuck him up most effectively? What location do I need to go to now to advance the plot? Etc.
OK yeah clues are provided in some cases but mostly it's trial and error in true JRPG/dating sim fashion. Things would be much more interesting if the traps interacted in some way (maybe a razor after a strip does more damage or blowtorch post water tank or any number of combinations really) but as far as I can tell they don't, so you're really just plonking things down one after the other.
Oh and plus the writing is kind of shitty. Just from the excerpt above: 'bad habit specialist'? 'They were not few'?
