Computer and Video Games offers up a mini-interview with Troika's Leon Boyarsky about Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines. Here's a bit on the shooterness of the title:


Bloodlines combines RPG with first-person action. How are you balancing both these elements?

Boyarsky:
We're taking what is a first-class shooter engine and marrying it with what we hope you'll agree is a first-class RPG experience. As opposed to watering down either of them, we've tried to keep both intact as much as possible.

That doesn't mean you have to play the game as a first-person shooter, but if you choose to do so then you can get that kind of effect when you're in combat.​

Sounds scary. What if I don't want to shoot anything at all, is that option there as well?
