Before the days of videogaming and instant entertainment, hardened Tolkein fans used pen, paper and dice to whisk away the hours fighting for our survival in the eternal struggle for humanity. This socially neglected subculture of universities and high schools has maintained a healthy presence within the gaming industry and TOEE is the title for which they have long been salivating. Entrenched deep in the catacombs of the D&D world, this title embodies the strict regime that these dedicated fantasy faculties follow, however, it does so at a price. Deep mythology, excellent graphics and top sound fail to hide a wayward plot and the casual RPG is alienated to a +10 level.
Uh... we still use pen, paper and dice to whisk away hours fighting for our survival in the eternal stuggle for humanity. CRPGs are a long way away from replacing pen and paper games.
