1UP posted a <a href=http://www.1up.com/article2/0,4364,1526428,00.asp>preview[/url] of I of the Dragon, an action RPG where you play a dragon instead of a humanoid.

Cool, so players command one of three dragons in typically differing action RPG styles, fly around generally forested locales tied together by an overarching map, and kill monsters. Sounds simplistic, and for the first few missions it is...painfully. But then the game picks up some. According to the press, it's possible to actually build towns. I really wouldn't know how advanced this functionality is. I've played for the better part of five hours and found most of my time spent shooting a variety of fire at a variety of monsters. Still, I do know that once one of the sub locations is cleared of monsters, it's possible to establish camp and bring some of the humans back from the void. Those who return can then defend their little fort and even nurse the dragon hero back to fiery health so that he can go kill still more monsters with still more fire. It doesn't seem very strategic, but then it wouldn't be wise to place a town in a sector with three adjoining, hostile sectors, since the monsters can stage invasions of sorts. Served with a side of common sense, towns seem to add a bit of home to this action RPG.
So, there you go. A non-Bio game for all those who bitched that we hunt exclusively for KOTOR reviews to make fun of them. Discuss!
