Blast from the past! A site called Da Gamers Boyz has posted a very amusing review of Fallout Tactics, a game that's "basically took the best part of the first two games and expanded on it: the combat." Enjoy the show!

Here we have a franchise that is founded with a familiar turn-based combat system, but leaps so far forward in terms of engrossing back story and unbridled style that we can't really classify it as part of that genre
...
In Fallout 2, you play the very same dweller, now a wanderer.
...
The engine, at first glance, appears basically the same. It's still a sprite-based isometric view. Fortunately, with the higher resolution and many more new objects in the game world, it still appears new.
...
The true versatility of the game comes into play when you're given the freedom to achieve this goal in nearly any way you want.
One word: wow!
