Tags: S.C.O.U.R.G.E.: Heroes of Lesser RenownS.C.O.U.R.G.E.'s web page has updated with a bit on the progress on the 3D rogue-like with a unique sense of humor. Here's the really important bits:
Several new features are cooking, here at the underground facilities of S.C.O.U.R.G.E. A spell system has been causing quite a lot of headache (literally) but it seems that the final wrinkles are being ironed out (and our test Imp population has stopped decreasing in numbers...) Wonderously, a user guide is also starting to come into existence, wrought with teh same hihg stannards as the cdoebase. Do stay tuned for more, soon!And now for the status of the project:
[*]Done Potions: HP, AC and skill-enhancing potions.
[*]Done Party summary window (party member info: mods, hp, armor, etc.)
[*]Done Add a min/max button the party details window. In 'min' view it should only show hp/mp bars.
[*]Done Make "skills" tab in Party Info draw health-bars.
[*]Done Magic system and spells (both the rpg-side and visual effects)
[*]Done Creature-target spells (single/multiple missiles)
[*]Area-target spells
[*]Item-target spells
[*]Mechanism for getting scrolls and adding spell to spellbook
[*]Implement magic resistances (only some spells work on some creatures, players' ability to equip the ring X against spell type Y, etc.)
[*]Paper-doll in inventory
[*]Item enhancements: rare-ness, acl-s, etc.
[*]Monster enhancements: rare-ness, size independent of model
[*]Done Make party attack nearest creature after battle
Bugs:
[*]Potion expiration is deleted between missions (calendar reset). (They should not be deleted.)
