There's a review of Boiling Point over at Jolt. It scores a pretty fat 8.3/10, despite some niggles and flaws. Here's a bit about playgrounds:

The fact that there’s no time limit really gives you the opportunity to appreciate the size of the game. At one point, when looking for a guy to fulfil an objective, we went wandering into the wrong room by mistake where we found some old biddie who gave us a mission that took us in a totally new direction. The fact that you have the freedom to do this is not to be sniffed it – it’s a living, breathing world that will quite happily let you live in it without even trying to find your stupid daughter if you don’t want to. Go and learn how to fly a chopper instead – the world is truly your playground.
Missions from old ladies that don't involve cats is nice - but not realistic!

Thanks, Shagnak!
