Dungeon Siege 2 gets a review from ByteSector. It scores a 3/5 stars, recommends the game to RPG fans, and says this:

As combat goes in games, Dungeon Siege II is a bit simple and that is possibly the weakest element of the game. The artificial intelligence of the enemies is horrendous, and rather than hastening to call it intelligence, I’d actually like to refer to it as genuine mind-numbing brainlessness. Generally, they do not target your weaker characters unless by a sheer stroke of genius, and that only happens by dumb luck. As you progress through the title, the enemies aren’t necessarily harder to fight; they just get more hit points, increase in numbers and deal a little more damage. It becomes pretty repetitive and dull after a while, but it stops the game from being hard to the point where you want to pull all of your hair out.
That's kind of bad considering that's about all there is to the game.
