Tags: Cute KnightHanako Games has released their new shareware CRPG Cute Knight. The dungeon crawling part of it is almost like Dungeon Master, only the combat isn't as rapid click as that game was. The rest of the game is a little quirky and a little too cute for my tastes, but it's a different type of diversion. Anyway, here's the release:

October 17, 2005 - (Sussex, United Kingdom) Hanako Games is pleased to announce the release of Cute Knight (Kishi Kawaii), a multiple-ending anime role-playing game aimed at both male and female fans of all ages and skill levels.
A girl stands alone on a dark night. Raised in an orphanage, with no knowledge of her true identity, cast out to fend for herself. What will become of her now? Will she find her lost family? Will a handsome prince sweep her off her feet? Will she become a great hero and triumph over the monsters of darkness? Or will she turn to a life of crime to support herself? Her destiny is in your hands....
Take control of your character and send her to work in the town, raising her skills and earning money to spend on classes and equipment, then send her into the dungeon to adventure! But make sure she doesn't run out of dreams, or the game will be over. Your choices will determine her future career. Knight or Princess? Dragonslayer or Beggar? Over fifty storybook endings wait to be discovered.
With randomly generated dungeons and treasure, a full crafting system to create your own items and potions, a card-based magic system, secret events, romances, and more, there is always something new to find.
