RPGVault has an interview with Rebelmind's Krzysztof Krawczyk(give the dog a bone) about their upcoming game Frater. Here's how it starts:

Jonric: In your own words, what kind of game will Frater be, what are you trying to achieve in terms of the play experience, and how did you choose the name?

Krzysztof Krawczyk:
Frater is a hack and slash game designed to give the player maximum enjoyment from the battles themselves. I'm sure the time and place of the action are the features that will allow the game to stand apart from other titles from this genre, which one could say has became our specialty. This time, we will move to the 19th century, when the world is controlled by evil.

Building on our earlier experience, which we gained while working on Space Hack, we added some new gameplay possibilities. Players will be able to combine items, which will offer a wide range of new possibilities. There will also be helpers that will stand beside us all the time. They are special magical creatures designed to help their owners. Another new option will be "seizing" demons and using them later in the fight. I believe these new capabilities will satisfy all the fans of this kind of games.

The word Frater comes from Latin and means brother. The story will explain to the players why we chose this particular word for the title of our game.
Well, another actiony hack and slash game. Can't have enough of those, can we? After all, there's no such thing as a "flooded market" when it comes to these things... Is there? Hopefully the setting will make this interesting.
