Tags: Wizardry 8RPG Vault has posted an interview with Ian and Linda Currie, who have worked on such titles as the Jagged Alliance series as well as Wizardry 8. Here's a snippet:
Jonric: With Wizardry 8 having been released some time ago, what have you all been doing since then? How did you manage to stay together as a group - and why did you want to?
Linda and Ian Currie:[/b] When Sirtech Canada discontinued its game development operations, we felt it was ironic because our team was the strongest it ever had been - both in terms of collective skills and solid teamwork. Luckily, we were able to gain employment as a team immediately. While this allowed us to stay together between then and now, the company we joined was recently forced to downsize, making us available once more. As far as why we wanted to stay together back then... well, it let us all continue doing what we loved to do, with people we knew well and were comfortable with. But in a weird way, staying together as team is even more important to us now given the things we've been through together. There's some truth to adversity bringing people together, we guess.
My personal favorite Currie is Chicken Currie.
