Tags: Fallout 3 (Van Buren); Titus InteractiveGamer's Click has posted a editorial on the gaming industry. They basically list companies and how they're doing. Here's the bit about Titus/Interplay:
Titus Looking to Rid Dead Weight (Full Story)
Financially troubled publisher Titus has revealed plans to sell Interplay, which it took over in August 2001. Interplay's Shiny studio was sold to Infogrames early last year for US$47 million, a figure largely based on the fact that Shiny is developing Enter the Matrix.
(GamersClick Comment) Well, I saw this coming. Interplay has established next-to-nothing in recent times. Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance was good, but I am sure sales of this title are not going to save the company. It would seem Interplay has been on a downward spiral after they were taken off the NYSE. Their stock is well below $1 per share. C'mon Interplay, give us a new Fallout title! I swear I'll buy three copies!
They should probably be much more specific than just new Fallout title, considering the last one wasn't that great.
Is there anyone out there that doesn't want a good Fallout 3?
