I do not understand the question

Near the end if was pretty obvious that they didn't know how to calm the masses screaming for more stretch goals and more stuff added to the game thus their last stretch goal was some "we're gonna do extra testing and Avellone will play Arcanum".

OK, 40-50k, not 30.

Edit: Cannot into linking to posts. :retarded:

In the meantime, give us the fucking wallpapers.

Coming right up.

Weekends tend to be more quiet (from our KS research). We can slow down fine just now, if we slow down to a 40-50K range we'll be doing absolutely amazing, in my opinion.

They had that designer commentary thing as a final stretchgoal, no? That was interesting if indeed a bit curious. Anyway no, we've got a lot of stretch goals mapped out, and had them mapped out before the Kickstarter, and I think that's been showing, so far.

That is what I expect for our calm period, yes, in a gradual slowdown, because it's what PE did in their calm period. If we follow the "typical curve", next few days should slowly slow down to that range (think 90-80-70K). I expected the weekend slowdown to be fairly steep, it's been pretty good so far.

On the other hand, the average pledge started out remarkably high, so maybe there's nowhere to go up to.
Yanked up by high density of high-level backers, I think. Wasteland 2 did much the same, so I'd sooner expect it to curve slowly down.

Brother None If you happen to know. inXile do NOT have the IP right's to Planescape: Torment's IP (Such as the characters, story etc...). Or does BIS own that. And obviously the setting is owned by WotC/HASBRO.

Planescape: Torment's IP used to belong to Interplay, but they restored full IP rights to Atari in a lawsuit settlement, and Atari followed up by passing them on to Hasbro in another lawsuit. Hasbro is the publisher of Planescape: Torment and other Interplay AD&D properties on digital retailers, and owns the full IP. Atari doesn't own anything anymore. Interplay retained, uh, the "Dark Alliance" name. Roguey may correct me if I am mistaken in any way, but that's the situation as far as I know. We don't have any rights to any of the story or character content, no, that much I do know for sure.

I just have to ask. Will there be factions like Mercykillers? I think that's one of the best faction ever, but there was so little interaction (except for Vhailor and he was awesome) with them.
I think Kevin already covered this in his last update? There will be factions, they'll be talked about more in a future update. I'm not going to talk about specific factions, sorry.

Colin is probably thinking back to his day, I don't think he followed developments since. Interplay gave up full rights back in 2008, specifically:
Pursuant to the Agreement, Atari Interactive exercised an existing option to purchase, and purchased, from the Company intellectual property rights developed by the Company in connection with the Dungeons & Dragons games and the balance of all amounts due from the Company to Atari Interactive under the Note of approximately $1,050,000.00 was cancelled and terminated.

I think back then we dug out that this meant not just the names but all properties. Which I believe were packaged off by Atari to Hasbro, with BG:EE the last thing Atari was allowed to publish? I may be mistaken there tho, it's a bit of a mess. Regardless, we don't have the rights.

Kicktraq (imperfect I know) shows PE's first four days as 706, 482, 195 and 156, and our first four days as 1488, 517, 204 and 118. I hope it sticks at around 50K a day now much like Eternity did, but if it falls to 30K a day, that's ok. A steeper dropoff to 30K was my guess based on what Dreamfall Chapters did. If we do better, then great.
Something to keep in mind here is that Kicktraq cut each prject at the same time when it comes to 'days', without regard for when it was first put on.
So, for example, PE actually did something like 1million in their first day (it took them 26hrs or so to reach 1.1millions), and all the days after that would need to be slightly adjusted (as the 'total' of the four days would need to take into account the money gathered during the fourth day that is counted in the 5th days by kicktraq).

Anyway, just being nitpicky there.

I want more concept art! In higher resolution, too.

Brother None -- since you're already answering stretch goal questions, and out of curiosity: in your opinion, is there any funding threshold at all (that you know of/have discussed internally) where there would be some sort of dramatic change in the way the game is realized, or else something that the creative leads would really love to include but probably will not be able because of budget limitations? (I'm asking mostly because I can't actually think of anything that would go beyond cosmetics like improved visuals, more voice acting, etc. -- and even though you can theoretically always add more content, the one thing that basically no money can buy you on KS is more time to implement it; this led me to wonder whether a considerably bigger budget than that of the current big KS projects like Eternity and Torment could actually add something of essence.)

Looked pretty good few hours ago. Though Stat tracker counts the funds per day in a different manner.

Sure. At $5 million, we'll make it an MMO.

Nah, in all seriousness, the core game vision is already pretty solidified, and there's a lot of leeway for how much money you can pour into that to just improve and polish the core ideas, but there's not much I can think of that would outright change other than - indeed - presentation-end things.

I know, that's why I said (imperfect I know), but just so you know, that's how Kickstarter internally tracks the numbers too. 24h comparisons would be better than day comparisons, yes.

So as it stands is the graphics style like Wasteland 2? I know its described as Isometric on the kickstarter but I assume that can be done with a fixed camera angle.
