I might give Planet Zoo a try, but I'm with the guy in the video.
Planet Coaster was just a sandbox with enormous creative freedom, but extremely little management and thinking behind it. Parkitect is what you want if you want a real theme park game.
So, given the name and developer, I expect Planet Zoo to be in the same category: Nice to look at, but little substance.

Which might be enough for a few dozen hours, of course, but most likely not at full price.

All "tycoons" of that kind suffer from the same problem - they aim to be means to construct some theme park you can "visit" via first-person view, completely abandoning "economy" and "management" parts.
