  1. cRPGs in which the art direction doesn't suck?

What I am saying is, that a game which doesn't have animated combat gets boring. I want to see the enemies swinging their swords, and I want to see spells flying. Guys, Lands of Lore and Eye of the Beholder were doing this around 21 years ago. Those games came on a couple of floppy disks...
  2. What do you find interesting in an RPG?

I wish you the best of luck with your endeavour. Can you post up some screenshots btw?
  3. cRPGs in which the art direction doesn't suck?

Thing about devil whiskey is the art is not animated.
  4. Frayed Knights: The Skull of S'makh-Daon - parodic fantasy turn-based blobber

Azrael, could you post on topic please? Have you played Frayed Knights? If not, download the demo and play it.
  5. Skyrim Map Scan [Russian]

Arena's dungeons became a piece of cake as soon as you gained the capability to cast the dissolve wall spell (or whatever you name it). I used to cast that spell, rest, and repeat until I got to the room where the spear part was.
  6. Curious case of kingcomrade

You know, has kc ever played any of the classics? Has he palyed an Ultima, a Realms of Arkania, a Betrayal at Krondor?
  7. Legend of Grimrock - new DM clone in the works

Will definately check it out. It's a real shame though that it's not turnbased.
  8. Frayed Knights: The Skull of S'makh-Daon - parodic fantasy turn-based blobber

If you haven't downloaded the demo I seriously suggest you to do so. I too was turned off the game by some things I had heard, but on a whim I decided to download the demo. I only played for around half an hour, then decided I was going to buy it. Here are a couple of reasons why: -Character...
  9. Dark Souls

So, after hearing about this on the codex, I checked out some trailers on Youtube. I was thinking the game would suck, so like most action twitchy gamers with the words RPG slapped on them, but to be honest it doesn't seem all that bad as far as action games go. I like that GRRM seems to be an...
  10. Game News Frayed Knights Patch 1.04 and Interview

Excellent interview. I like the guy already. Some good insights there.
  11. Game News Diablo III Muslim Controversy

VentilatorofDoom, Andhaira just pm'd me and asked me to tell you to: "SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU IGNORANT ASSHOLE!" Oh and you suck at posting the news.
  12. Game News Diablo III Muslim Controversy

Muslimgamer, didn't you read my post earlier, it' on page 4. I posted a message from you from our resident Muslim Andhaira. Please read it and respond.
  13. Frayed Knights: The Skull of S'makh-Daon - parodic fantasy turn-based blobber

Humor, as in Frayed Knights, is not for everyone. Many people like their rpg's to be serious. But if you like the humor, it's an additional bonus. Have you tried playing the demo?
  14. Frayed Knights: The Skull of S'makh-Daon - parodic fantasy turn-based blobber

Ok, when Dragon Age Origins comes out everyone is all over it. Multiple threads at least 20 pages long are made, and lots of derping is to be had. Everyone plays it, most beat it. Rinse and repeat with DX/Mass Effect/New Vegas. But when finally an indie rpg comes out which has JUST the...
  15. I shall remain - another new zombie rpg in development

Hey that deadhorde game looks pretty sweet! Too bad I am not into zombies or I would play it. I would play a fantasy game using the same engine, even if the game was real time. However, there would need to be a deep character creation as well as advancement system in the game.
