    Anime Your test site sucks

The test site already looks outdated, like one of those dead forums that littered the internet after discord became a thing. Why not embrace the ultra-outdated look of the current website instead? Just keep the signature old graphic, implement the new features and you're gold! On another note...

RPGWatch was going to shut down - taken over by Taluntain instead!

What about this thing: http://www.rpgwatch.com/crpg-analyzer.html Is it worth preserving?

Rumor: Fallout and Elder Scrolls remasters from inXile

If true, it's probably just another bait to get older people to sign up for that Xbox recurring revenue service thing. M$ really ramping up their product lineup for THE FUTURE OF GAMING™.

RPGs with Horror as the main theme?

Nobody here play Darkwood? Its RPG status is debatable, but it's the closest thing to a horror RPG that I know of. And by horror, I mean the game actually got me spooked. An incredible feat for a top-down game.

That trailer sounds like a text-to-speech marketing buzzword generator.

    Stronghold HD

I hear similar ideas brought up all the time. Honestly, I think it is the logical evolution of the Stronghold games and ultimately what many people want. But I guess making mobile games and catering to the Chinese market is just more profitable.

    Stronghold HD

Good God, those videos reminded me of the innocent joy of childhood again. Too bad stronghold is such a simple game, I can't enjoy it anymore.

Decline Designers grabbing you by the hand and leading you isn't very fun

Well, I should've known better. Putting "immersive" in there is going to rustle someone's jimmies. What I mean by "immersive simulation game" is just that: a very immersive simulation game, not the marketing buzzword "immersive sim"

Decline Designers grabbing you by the hand and leading you isn't very fun

After lurking for a year and reading a lot of threads like this in the RPG subforum, I have a sneaking suspicion that some people here really just want immersive simulation games. Will people here stop pretending that they care about PnP RPG rules in their roleplaying videogames if, in the near...

I thought fork just want to shit on infinitron and talk about how shitty CY+6 video game industry is, how the fuck some people here read that and see it as an opportunity to masturbate about geeks “unbridled obsessive love” and literary high art. All video game is escapism don’t bring...

    Savegame limitations?

How about this: developer separate the savegame/cheat/DECLINE ENABLER option on a free DLC. With this people who want to have fun have the option to do so and tryhard/hardcore gamers™/true RPG enjoyer can have some degree of separation between them and the sinful temptation of savescum.

    Netflix moving into gaming

I think netflix just want to get in on the VR metaverse thingy, they choose someone with VR development background from facebook for a reason. Virtual product, “art” or even real estate going to be the next BIG moneymaker for these tech oligarch and people will be happy owning nothing in the...
