  1. Playstation VR 2

They must be out of their goddamn minds to push that price point in this economy.
  2. Playstation VR 2

I'm interested if I can get it to run on my PC as well because those controllers are sexy and I'd sooner circumcise myself than buy a Facebook machine.
  3. God of War, Red Dead Redemption II and other 'Movie' type games..

It's a good Journalist game because it plays itself and has a story they only had to sit through once, hence, Game of the Year.
  4. Soys Row 2022

I don't weep for Volition. I can't imagine having a sect of fans as passionate as the classic Saints Row ones practically begging for you to give them what they want and still flipping them off to chase a trend. Let em sink.
  5. God of War, Red Dead Redemption II and other 'Movie' type games..

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a very compelling game but how much you enjoy it depends a lot on how much you're able to immerse yourself in the setting, and since so much of the open world's dynamicism is random it can alternate between utter emptiness to feeling lively and fun. Also, random events...
  6. Fallout Fallout 3 isn’t as bad as you think...

It did look good, I guess I just wish it was just bigger and more fleshed out since it was honestly more compelling than much of the main game.
  7. CD Projekt's Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0 + Phantom Liberty Expansion Thread

77's boner for the police is really weird. There's a couple of encounters where they're doing fucked up shit but never are you really pit against them. The emphasis on Corpos makes sense but in a city as totally fucked as NC the cops should really be just another enemy faction.
  8. Decline Grand Theft Auto VI - PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S (2025)

The female protagonist looks less disgusting than I assumed they would make her, but I pretty much lost all hope of Rockstar being able to write a competent female protagonist with RDR2. Sadie is an unhinged sociopathic murderer who kills without remorse and doesn't care a whit about who gets...
  9. Fallout Fallout 3 isn’t as bad as you think...

I can't seem to track it down but I could have sworn that one of the devs, Sawyer or Avellone, someone fairly high up, said that they had plans for a 'walk away' ending where you just leave the factions to their own devices and walk down the lonesome road to other adventures, with the game...
  10. Weird West: Definitive Edition - top-down immersive sim action-RPG from Arkane founder Raf Colantonio

Because the team wanted to use the "Immersive Sim" label as marketing to draw in a specific crowd who likes Arkane games, which is hilarious, because "Immersive Sim" is basically sales-poison as a title and any dev striving to make a game similar to Thief or Deus Ex should stay as far the fuck...
  11. Fallout Which fan-made Fallout game is the best?

I'm holding out hope that Sonora's english version will be as good as it looks. I can't speak or read vodka-lyrics but it seems like everything I wanted Fallout 2 to be but wasn't. Other than that, Resurrection was okay, Olympus 2207 couldn't hold my interest all the way the way through but I'm...
  12. CD Projekt's Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0 + Phantom Liberty Expansion Thread

All they really did was bundle a popular mod with the Steam release, the DLC came after as an apology to reinvigorate interest in the IP after 3 effectively killed it. I dunno if I'd equate that to the NMS turn-around, and a lot like NMS the core issues with that game haven't really been fixed...
  13. Capcom Resident Evil 4 Remake - out now for PC/Playstation/Xbox

Only haters and trolls would want to see the characters from the game represented by actors who at least vaguely resemble them, haven't you heard? It's bigoted to want things to look accurate in adaptation.
  14. Capcom Resident Evil 4 Remake - out now for PC/Playstation/Xbox

When are we getting the Netflix series tie-in game? Black Wesker in mercenaries I hope.
  15. Capcom Resident Evil 4 Remake - out now for PC/Playstation/Xbox

Because they're mostly written by people who watch movies and write scripts but don't play or care about videogames. Remember when God of War was coming out and the actor was 'wowed' because it read like a real movie script and not a game script? That's why. Videogames are the new hollywood.
