Incline RPG Codex's Best RPGs - 2024 - VOTE ONLY THREAD

Making random lists of things you like is always a neat distraction. Here's a semi-arbitrary list of 20 games, semi-arbitrarily split between regular and hidden gem categories. Top RPGs: Wizardry 8 Deus Ex Gothic The Witcher Fallout New Vegas The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind Arcanum: Of...

    The Japs do everything better

On the contrary, it is a necessity to keep GRPG mouthbreathers segregated and away from the prestigious JRPG subforum

Your favourite games from the dark age of pure shit (2005 - 2009)

That clears things up. I guess I'd rather call what you tend to run into at other forums/reddit "insufferably passive-agressive" or something while I find that "really hostile" describes what happens on the Codex when things get heated quite aptly (the latter still being preferable to the former).

"Telling people they're retarded and their opinion is shit is fun unless they fight back" Wow, what a massive fucking pussy

Aletheia: Return of Odysseus - Greek mythology turn-based isometric RPG from Tavernking

I wonder how they intend to combine "never contradicting the text" with stuff like multiple quest solutions. Best of luck with with the project anyhow.

Kingsvein - new tactical RPG from Rad Codex set in subterranean world

Yeah, I expected it was something like that. The fact that you can miss such an important item and still use your abilities to navigate the map is yet another compliment for the game.

Kingsvein - new tactical RPG from Rad Codex set in subterranean world

As usual for Rad Codex game it's a sidegrade to previous titles rather than a straight improvement, but since the overall formula is very good I'm not complaining much. I think I liked the speed-based initiative system of the earlier games better then the "you go - enemy goes" system used here...

Vapourware A New Top 101 Poll

2016-2023 or something list could be interesting, since it could feasibly include some hidden gem that flew under most people's radar. Another all-time list would be pretty pointless, it would just be old list + the biggest new releases and the only remotely interesting result would be pages...

Weapon and shield, One two-handed weapon, or dual-wielded weapons?

It's a conundrum. Two-handers are the coolest but the other two options give you one additional item slot to customize your dude. I guess the cool factor wins in the end, so two-handed > weapon+shield > dual wielding.

What games did you complete in 2023?

I played it emulated, keyboard only. Didn't have much issues since while combat is real-time it isn't really action based and it pauses as you go into menus to select targets and abilities.

What games did you complete in 2023?

It seems I played way too much. I pretty much doubled the last year's number and, worst of all, I didn't notice any change in my day-to-day habits. Dragon Quest IV :3.5/5: Memoirs of a Battle Brothel :3.5/5: Grand Theft Auto Vice City :4/5: Bully :3.5/5: Grand Theft Auto III :3/5: Grand Theft...

KickStarter Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Dan Vavra's medieval chad simulator

I just assumed that if I went around the monastery shouting "HEY HAVE YOU SEEN ANY BANDITS? I AM LOOKING FOR A BANDIT HIDING IN THIS MONASTERY. I HEARD THERE IS A BANDIT AMONG THE MONKS HERE, DO YOU KNOW WHO IT IS?" the guy would try to get rid of me somehow, and it worked.
