InXile seem to be excited to announce the release of Wasteland 2: Enhanced Edition Director's Cut Deluxe.

To play, login to Steam, visit your Library page, and look for the new Wasteland 2: Director's Cut game entry. You will need to download this version of the game separately, but it will not replace your existing Wasteland 2 install.

Other third party stores on PC will be rolling out soon over the course of the coming day, including GOG.com. Stay tuned for updates from them if you have Wasteland 2: Director's Cut on a store other than Steam.

Meanwhile, console retail and digital release is scheduled for today in the Americas, and October 16 for Europe, so keep an eye out if you are looking to pick up a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One copy.

If you want to play Wasteland 2 DC on the shitbox you'll have to wait for Oct., 16th. Tragic.

I really should return to that game. How far in the campaign I am when I'm just before LA (I think)? I'd restart the game and go for the DC if it's not that far in terms of %. I don't really care for the graphics that much, the other new stuff is what interests me.

Is this game worth actually playing now ?

there is still a bug which prevents you from further progressing in the game with the radiation suit, one year after release and re-release. ineptile.

Jesus on a bromstick, the new camera angle is shit. At max zoom its still way too close, and gets nearly completly Top-Down, those two things coupled together make navigation a pain in the ass.

Fuck consoles and their AIDS spreading everywhere.

The angle is always too close to the zoom location on the X/Y axis and when you zoom out, it very quickly pivots straight up instead of out a bit more.

It's about time, I've been holding off on both this and D:OS because I wanted to have my first playthrough to be with the fully completed Enhanced Editions.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 BattleTech Bubbles In Memoria A Beautifully Desolate Campaign Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. My team has the sexiest and deadliest waifus you can recruit. Pathfinder: Wrath

Me too. And then I found out that my shitty toaster does not even have enough HDD space to install Wasteland, even after I deleted all my porn other games. I guess its Div:OS then.

Maybe I should just run an Indiegogo Campaign to get a new system, I hear that Codexian support in such dire cases knows no bounds.

I wonder how one can enjoy 80hrs of gameplay dealing with the UI and other control issues with the consoles?
As pointed out by the PS4 reviews as well that the game was made with KB and mouse in mind.
Horrible to even imagine on consoles.
PC, any day.

it's unplayable with the new camera, you have little to no visibility of the map, and i thought inxile couldnt do any worse...

BN on steam:

Hey everyone! We hear you! We're working on the camera now and will change it back to the original zoom as soon as we're able.

Indeed, because no one at inxile at the critical thinking to notice how fucked up the camera was before release? i mean, really?

Fuckup indeed, when the feedback threads on steam and their own forums can only talk about how messed up the camera is...

Yeah, its pretty fascinating how this thing got past their QA and into release version. This shit is apparent the second you start the game and try to zoom out.

Sounds like the perfect subject of a Codex investigative report:

'Another generation of RPG's fallen victim to the sweet siren song of consoles or genuine programming/QA mishap?'
